These Thongs Saved My Life!!!!
"GIRLS!! These thongs are a MUST!!! They are comfortable AND super resillient. I have had my pair for over 2 years & the only thing that has changed is the lovely silver company logo has tarnished (it's not hard to coat it in clear nailpolish when you first buy them so this doesn't happen OR paint them with gel polish (UV cured) with a nice silver or gold to 'jooshj" it up again). I was an avid Havianas wearer, but they would break very often & I'd go through at least a few pairs every year. That is until my Mum bought a pair of these & I liked them so much I insisted on buying some for myself. I bought a black & a white pair. The white pair got dirty very quickly & I wanted them to be super clean so I had the bright idea of putting them in my dishwasher on a hot cycle to clean them. It cleaned them a bit, but the black marks were still all over them AND the hot water caused a chemical reaction making the plastic very hard & still & I genuinely couldn't use them anymore. So don't do what I did lol! NOW, the real reason I'm leaving this review is to say, by the grace of God & His divine protection AND the amazing quality of these thongs - I was saved from death or severe disability & a LOT of pain. I was at a very steep decline with lots of sharp rocks. I am very confident being in stupid situations so I was walking along the top of the rocks in these thongs. One of the rocks was not stable & I put my full weight on it. I started to slip down the cliff edge & these thongs twisted around (the bit between my big toe & the one next to it was STRONG & didn't budge for a moment) & the plastic gripped against the rock and stopped me from slipping down. I don't even know how to explain what happened but I felt it & looked down & they had saved me from a very horrific fall infront of family who would have been traumatised as you can imagine. After that the thongs still look NEW, not a scratch on them. . AMAZING As long as Billabong keep making these EXACT shoes I will keep buying them until I am too old to wear thongs. I will also tell everyone I can about it & encourage them to buy a pair of 5 for themsevles as not only did they save my life but they last & LAST. Graeat quality 100/10.
